Silly stuff

I don't know why it is that I always type "untied" instead of "united". It can be really embarrassing in customer correspondence. "Best fishes" instead of "best wishes" belongs in a similar category - although that might be closer to this one, which hit me the other day: If you transpose only one letter in "Santa" you get "Satan".

And then there was this guy who called this afternoon and asked if I had a mobile phone book... It took me several moments to figure out that he was not looking for a list of cell phone numbers or a phonebook to carry around in his pocket. No, he wanted the number for the Mobile Chamber of Commerce but didn't have a Mobile phonebook.
