... but I find this absolutely hilarious and very befitting that it happened on board a British Airways flight. It seems just the kind of Monty Pythonesque thing that happens to the British, doesn't it? Why this makes me think of Asterix in Britain is a mystery, though. And I probably wouldn't have laughed had I been on board that airplane. Still... *chortles*

Speaking of Asterix: I bought a CD-ROM on eBay this afternoon that has all the Asterix books and all the Tintin books in .pdf format. It's been a long time since I read either and I never read any of them in English, so I look very much forward to receiving them in the mail and to sharing them with others.

I caved :(

I went grocery shopping and bought all kinds of healthy food: salad, cucumbers, carrots, and conveniently pre-portioned frozen vegetables that I can heat up in the microwave for a quick lunch.

I had enough self-control not to buy my favorite candy,
Reese's peanut-butter cups (the white ones *sighs wistfully*), but after a week without chocolate - except for my daily spoonful of Nutella -, I succumbed to the lure of the extra-dark Hershey's with Macadamia nuts and cranberries. Three squares = 200 calories/100 fat calories. From the lips to the hips, I'm afraid, because I was so exhausted today that I skipped my evening walk. But you can't live in the States and not occasionally eat Hershey's chocolate. It's un-American!
