Everything changes the day he finds a little plastic wrapper in Harry's trouser pocket.
Maybe he should be hurt or upset, but he feels strangely exhilarated instead. Almost as if he is about to mount his broomstick and kick off for a Quidditch match – with Harry as the Snitch.
He smiles to himself.
So he has competition?
He wonders who it is.
It's been a while since he's encountered a real challenge.
He sits on the bed and stares at it for several minutes before he puts the condom back where he found it.
This is going to be interesting!
