Another short one on DH

I finally remembered that I'd forgotten to mention the major aaawwww! moment I had when Harry got a magic razor for his birthday. Our ickle Harrykins... old enough to shave... *sniffs*

Then I re-read
this extremely interesting piece in Red Hen's "About the Potterverse" series about what might occur in the last book and was blown away by how spot-on many of the conclusions were.

And now I'm going to bed in order to be ready for answering questions such as, "What do I need to do to sell water from my well?" tomorrow.

you remember the part when Hermione jinxed Harry's face and he looked into the mirror at Malfoy Manor and he saw practically a pink blob with hair down to his shoulders and a shadow around his jaw? that made me like ackackackackack!

Actually, I don't. Hehe, I'll have to re-read the book at some point and pay more attention to the details. I was too busy skipping over tedious tidbits and contrived circumstances in an attempt to not let all this "more of the same" get to me too much.

You skipped? I see it often: people saying that they only leafed through parts of the book. I don't think I could do that. I'm a slow reader - it took me the whole weekend to read the book (all right, I only remembered to search for it Saturday afternoon because I thought it would be another half day until it is officially released) and I tend to skip to conversations but then I always go back and dutifully read the parts I skipped when my curiosity is sated.

re: shadow around the jawline: It wasn't really clear for me if JKR meant days old stubble or bruises at that part. But I don't remember Harry having been punched, just that Hermione hexed her with that stinging that left his face in a state.
